I found a recipe for carrot fries that actually "fries" them, but I need to take a break from frying for a bit. I'm trying most things in the oven. These taste delicious and were nice and tender, but they would have probably had more of a fry "crunch" had they been fried.
Ingredients
- 7 carrots (cut into matchsticks)
- 2 tbsp. coconut oil
- salt and pepper
- garlic powder
Instructions
- Place carrot sticks in a large bown.
- Melt coconut oil and pour over carrot sticks.
- Lay out in a single layer on a baking sheet
- season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
- Bake at 425 degrees until edges get crispy.
